Jeffrey Scott Savage is an American writer, who as of 2014 has authored 14 novels in several genres, including the FarWorld fantasy series, the Case File 13 series, Covington series, and several standalone titles. His works intended as middle grade/young adult fiction are credited as written by J. Scott Savage, and his works intended for an older general audience as Jeffrey S. Savage.

Life

Jeffrey Scott Savage was born in Oakland, California, on January 31, 1963. He has two brothers and two sisters. He grew up in northern California, except for three years when he lived in New Providence, NJ. He met his wife in Roseville, CA and they were married in 1987. They have four children, and three grandchildren. He currently lives in northern Utah.

Savage has held numerous job in his life, including: CEO of an internet company, plumber, French chef, mall Santa and radio talk show host.
