Camp Yad Ari was a summer camp of the Chicago-Milwaukee-Minneapolis chapters of the Habonim youth movement. Founded in 1948 on 160 acres (0.65 km2) near Waupaca, Wisconsin after the destruction of Camp Tel Hai, the camp was literally built by the campers, who constructed all the permanent buildings at the site while everyone lived in tents. The land was sold in 1954 and the camp was combined with Camp Kinneret to form what eventually became Camp Tavor.
