Stephen Thomas Erlewine of Allmusic gave a review: "Camp Rock 2 finds the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato joined by R&B singer Matthew "Mdot" Finley, who gives this collection of Disney bubblegum of slightly different flavor".
